Dr. Ansari obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne. She has completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly the Diploma in Child Health), and a national certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning Australia (FPAA). She is currently studying for her Masters in Skin Cancer Medicine from UQ. She is interested in all areas of general practice, including women's health, sexual health, travel medicine, pediatric health assessments, cardiovascular risk assessments, skin cancer diagnosis and prevention. She is also experienced in the insertion and removal of implanon contraceptive devices.
